Matt has more than a decade of leadership experience in the private sector, public sector and on political campaigns. Prior to joining PVG, he served as a Manager at Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm where he advised some of America’s largest companies and financial firms on M&A decisions, corporate strategy, process improvement, and organizational design projects across multiple sectors.
Biography
During the Obama Administration, Matt held three political appointments: Deputy Chief of Staff of the Export-Import Bank (EXIM), Senior Communications Advisor at EXIM, and Spokesperson at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Before and after his time in government, he also held roles at Renovate America, Obama for America (the 2012 campaign to re-elect President Obama), the Glover Park Group (now Finsbury Glover Hering), and Calvert Investments.
Matt earned an MBA at INSEAD and graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from George Washington University with degrees in International Affairs and Geography. He lives in Washington, DC with his husband Lawrence and their dog Bondi.
